Doctors who want to obtain a professional license within the meaning of the Federal Doctors’ Ordinance must acquire sufficient knowledge of German, which is required for this professional activity. Our preparation course offers intensive coaching with regard to subject-specific vocabulary and idioms as well as the presentation of reports. Our German courses in Munich are available for you from A1 to C2. To be able to apply for admission to the Upper Bavarian government, you need a B2 level certificate. You can then submit the application for a license to practice medicine. During the course of the admission process, doctors have to pass a technical language test at level C1. According to the health ministers’ conference in June 2014, the knowledge of German required for the medical profession will be checked. The requirement is divided into general language skills at level B2 and technical language skills in German at level C1.
